Background:
My name is Will
Perry. I was grew up in Mission Viejo, CA, graduated from Mission Viejo High
School and have attended school at Saddleback College off an on over the
years. I am married to an awesome woman
named Terri and we have a beautiful little girl named Cassidy. Currently, we are living in
Work
I work at a help desk doing internal support, some project management and various development tasks. I also do consulting work developing mostly database driven ASP websites. Most of that work has been for Intranet websites and small businesses. I would like to consult full time but I’m not sure I could handle the irregularity of the work/money.
Play:
Terri: Terri and I like to hang out, go to the movies and, when funds allow, go to concerts. With us both in school and me working full time and Cassidy it is sometimes hard to find the time but, once in a while, we manage.
Cassidy: I spend most of my spare time with my daughter. We like taking trips to the park or just riding our bikes around the neighborhood.
Camping: Last year
I went camping with my family for the first time in years. It was Cassidy’s first time camping and only
the second time I had gone camping with Terri.
My brother John and our friends Chuck and Daphne from
Backpacking: When I was in my early teens, my grandfather, Walter Johnson, taught my brother and I about backpacking. He did this by taking us up into the High Sierras. We went on these trips annually until his health made it too risky for him to continue. This year, to mark the passing of his death in January, John and I took a backpacking trip of our own. It was the first time I had been backpacking since he had taken us as kids. It really brought back memories and I am definitely going to have to not only get out into the backcountry with my brother more, but I especially need to take Terri and Cassidy as well. Terri is dying to go and I hope that I can teach Cassidy the same appreciation of nature that my Grandfather taught me.
Geek Stuff: I like to tinker. Whether it is with my computer, my home network, my stereo, TV, etc… I like to work with electronic stuff. Take it apart and put it back together. Reconfigure it so it works a little better. Its all good stuff.
Rock Climbing: I’ve only gone a few times but it is a lot of fun. It’s just one more thing to try to find time for. I would really like to get into it more. My two trips to the falls off of the Ortega highway were a lot of fun. Plus, its really good for me.
